I used to thought that each layer happen sequentially and independently which never really understood completely, but as he explain that it is just a 'framework' to describe real network system usefully. It got clear that each layer coexist and cannot be separated. It is not that the packet only need transport layer (e.g: for transmission between routers, i thought router is 'exclusively a "transport" entity'). Thank you so much, you may not aware how you help us get this priceless clarity.
