When I was growing up in the 90's, there was a website I loved to visit. Its motto was 'The information insemination'.
I learned from that website that a hacker was just a curious person, who likes to know how systems worked. That system can be how people behave. It could be a lock on a door. It could be a computer network. Maybe it's your automobile?
With that frame in mind, it makes total sense someone would break into a system just to peek around.

This has been my favorite podcast since I discovered it. The longer these stories go on, the crazier and weirder they become. All the twists and turns and bizarre happenings make for some captivating tales. The animations and general aesthetic are nicely done as well.

I work in cyber security for a huge corp, and I do drive 4 hours per week to go to and from work, whenever I get out of my garage I choose an episode and I drive through the highway and for some reason I don’t even know how I got to the office building. I love the show and I’ve been a fan since hearing the story of the guy who robbed the wrong bank in Beirut, Lebanon 😂.
