This video is the result of some questions that were asked about Refresh during a recent Power Query course that I delivered. The questions were:

- How do I exclude a Query from being refreshed when Refresh All is clicked?
- How do I prevent column widths changing when the Query is refreshed?
- How do I stop formatting that I've applied to cells being lost when the Query is refreshed?

In this video I provide the answers to those questions

Great Video. I have a table which collects data from the web. When I refresh the table I'd like to keep a few columns as they are and refresh other columns. Is this possible?

Thank you very much. Does this work on MAC as well? I can't find the "Properties" button under Table design, sadly.

That only works with the old data. When new rows are added upon refresh, the new rows do not have the correct formatting. I.e. I have date formatted at mm/dd/yy but any new rows show up as 45168 or something like that

Thanks. Is there a way to control the order of refesh? I have an append query based on 3 other queries. I need those 3 others to refresh from their source FIRST and then the Append of these to refresh with the updated data in the other 3. How can I do this, without having to Refresh twice?
