Neil, I've yet to watch one of your videos where I didn't learn something, usually a lot. Thanks for all of your help.

Great info regarding the air filter. Once I remove mine, I always take the shop vac and suck out any debris that may be hiding back there on the odd chance it is hiding. That should stop it from entering the intake.

From Australia I thank you for your videos. After owning a BX25 for 8 years you have increased my knowledge100%. The manual did not cover the the tips & tricks that you have given. I am so happy now. Thank you Neil

I'm watching this while taking apart my ih cub cadet because a mouse made a nest over the winter, but really i need a compact tractor now. Luckily messicks is the second closest kubota dealer to me. It is probably worth the extra trip there in the future.

I worked for a major supplier of tractor dealers for 26 years, a couple of things I learned, the most repetitive issues were fuel or over heating, checking the screen in front of your radiator and using a radiator genie is high in my priority, amazing how dirty the radiators get with normal use, also even though I change all my filters based on manufacturer suggested hours, I pre- screen my fuel using a funnel with the wire screen, and a high quality paint filter inside the funnel, all you have to do is look in the bottom of your jug at all the trash that comes from the pump, overkill maybe on the paint filter but lots better than have trash in the tank,

I checked my axle reservoir a week after I got my L3560 when we got it a couple years ago and it was below the check port and added a lot more UDT2 than it be being just under the check port. Same with wheel bolts as some were initially not torqued to the correct value and two were actually loose also. Whether it was the factory or the dealer who knows but check your new tractor out with some real scrutiny because there are generally a few items missed that could damage the tractor. Tractor maintenance like greasing is a pita in the middle of a job but it pays off

Maintenance is important on any piece of machinery. We all are guilty of doing some poor maintenance. Thanks for the tips especially the ones on the directional fuel filters and the air filter.

Just had a bearing fail, with the wheel actually falling off! Never thought of changing the fluid in the axle...

Shop vac the air filter housing before and after pulling the filter... its a few seconds and it helps keep the crap out of the engine.

I just completely rebuilt the mower deck from my tractor. It wasn’t, bad, per se, but it needed a good cleaning. Especially important if you buy a used machine to check up on the deck. It got cleaned and painted, a few pieces of hardware replaced, and it works great. I usually wash it off after I’m done mowing each time, and then at the end of the season when we take it off to put the snowblower on, it gets scraped clean.

honestly, I hate how people treat their lawn mowers! highly neglected equipment. I mean someone spends $5000- 8000 on a John Deere riding mower, then never changed the oil, greases it, cleans the deck or maintains it in any way.

borrowed the neighbor's mower and told him I would do TLC. engine oil hasn't been changed, oil over filled, nothing greased and flat tires. I went through it including servicing the battery and found it was a much happier riding mower!

You're videos are great! I'll be making the journey from Pittsburgh for my next tractor for sure! How about a video on Proper Trailering? & Securing to a Flatbed trailer?

Thanks Neil, good pointers. My 100 hours isn't up yet but I'll keep these in mind when the time comes. I've owned 4x4 trucks since 1978 I've always done my own maintenance, but never once changed out the front axle grease/oil. Never once thought of it.
