Best wahs I have ever heard...if you have a problem swithing on or off use the G-LAB TBWP True Bypass Wah Pad

I’m glad brands like Xotic are working with creators like you who aren’t big YouTubers getting paid boatloads to say something. Nice review, I think I’m going to go for the xw-2 since you said it’s easier to plug and play, paired with my 100 watt Marshall it should be loud

This is a very well thought out and thorough review of how these Wah pedals sound. Makes me wanna buy one 😂

Interesting how Xotic managed to create two excellent wah pedals for two different audiences.
For me, the XW-1 is the best choice: a little effort is worth it for greater control. And with this pedal, you can truly shape the sound you want.
Thanks!

I own the XW-1, and always struggled to dial it in and now I know what the bias knob actually does. Awesome video! Thank you!

Great review, the best I've seen on the difference between these two wahs. Yes, you're right, one of the first pedals I ever got was a wah, a CryBaby at that. I've had 4 since, but my last one is the XW1. If that ever had to be replaced, I'd definitely go for the XW2 or whatever its replacement is. Xotic pedals are ... exotic!

Hey bud great review!
Which wah has better low frequency response according to you? Like feeling under the fingers

When you used the fuzz on the XW2, is the fuzz placed before or after the XW2? I had a blue XW1 limited edition before before it got burned on a fire accident. When I used a fuzz on recordings and gigs, it did not have any issues using the fuzz after the XW1. Just wanna know if the fuzz sounds good with XW2 placing the fuzz after the wah.

How's the on off switch? stiff and tough? Or easy on off no pressure needed

We both have very similar taste. I like your personal settings of the XW1, however, without being able to adjust EQ on the XW2 does it naturally not have the high-end piercing treble that I don’t like? I’m not sure which one I should go with, but I certainly don’t wanna pedal that. Has that piercing treble

Is there a small delay before the wah kicks in when you turn it on? For example, mid song.

you're wrong, unless you count it included in multi FX i had. i borrowed a crybaby from my buddy though!

Guilty as charged: first came the crybaby, then the Boss BF-2, then the TS-9.

Nope. Never owned one nor have I ever wanted one.😁
