As a kid I already knew enough about Scar. He’s jealous and feels overshadowed. It’s not that deep that you need a whole movie. Not to mention the fact that them not actually being brothers is stupid.

In over five decades (possibly 6?) of watching movies I've learned that I'm not always right. I've seen sequels I thought would be terrible, turn out good, even better. And sequels I looked forward to, that were terrible or worse. So I won't hold my breath, but neither will I give up hope.

The film that really needs a sequel is "Flash Gordon" (1980)

The synopsis for I Am Legend 2 is that Will Smith's Dr. Neville slaps his way through the entire movie while hoping that his wife, who is long dead, is watching him from heaven (with their son's best friend at her side) and would approve of his actions.

With regards to the I am Legend sequel, it's a little bit of a mistake to say that the alternate ending has "never" been canon. In fact the alternate ending technically _is_ the original canon ending, if you go by Richard Matheson's novella. Even that one has its differences, but if you compare the book's ending with the theatrical ending, the two are light-years apart from each other. It's a little weird that this choice was made, but considering the alternate ending is far superior, and more faithful to the source material, I'm perfectly fine with the decision.

The best thing they could do with Star Wars is throw out all the Disney movies and make films from the novels that came out before Disney bought the franchise. Most of them were GREAT.

I know how most people feel about Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, and honestly, I get it. Most of their roles are the same. However, in this case, Jumanji 3 was already set up to happen with the game once again coming back to the real world. I personally enjoyed the sequels and have been looking forward to this film. Anything after this is overkill.
