The most interesting swap to me is a Volvo 5 Cylinders swap. It has been done. They're good engines if you know how to miantain them, they're dirt cheap and they sound divine. They also solve the lack of power and mostly torque the 1.8 has.

I have an Idea what about swapping The AMG M139 421 HP 370 ft/Lb torque turbo Engine into the light ND 2022 Mix-5 manual keep the 470 final drive ratio and try using any of the European car transmissions that use this engine Duel clutch, or a custom 6 speed Miata transmission b that may fit this engine. Just a thought. Make up a kit. I’m on board if you do
