Today I begin a new series showing you how to play videogames at an expert level. Crusader Kings 2 or CK2 is where I shall embark first. Have you ever wondered just how to play this Paradox Interactive game? How to get a wife? How to expand your Empire? Well worry no more!

Crusader Kings II is a grand strategy game set in the Middle Ages, developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive as a sequel to Crusader Kings. It was released for Microsoft Windows on February 14, 2012

You cant play as the Western Protectorate, the ruler designer is terrible, and you dont have Way Of Life, the most important DLC

I wouldn’t recommend the traits club foot harelip hunch back or giant because they’re hereditary traits that pass on to your children. I recommend that you have wounded or maimed because you can get rid of them and they give you a lot of -age and also Insane cos it’s pretty fun making a horse your advisor.

These advices took my CK2 skills to another level

If you are trying to make an op character i discovered something op
1) Leper Great Pox and Incapable, make your health high enough to survive, and then you have a lot of points for other traits
2) If you have great pox and incapable there is an event that will pop early that will get rid of Incapable
3) Theology focus, get a mystic doctor and do mystical experiment until you get rid of Great Pox
( or if you savescum you could do it with a normal doctor and experimental treatment )
4) With the theology focus go in seclusion and there is a high chance to get rid of Leper
5) Gain your young character with brawny genius strong master seducer +9999 martial
6) Eugenics :^)

The ultimate ck2 exploit: create your ruler, pick every negative trait in the game. Use your points on your base stats. Once you start playing, the game will see your character has too many traits, and will fire events to remove them. Health traits like great pox and wounded can be cured. Craven can go away by dueling/fighting battles. Cannibal allows you to eat people, and you can then gain the traits of the people you eat to flip negative traits into positive. Sink most points into military, bc that will determine the levy size for all counties you control. Using this exploit, my custom ruler usually ends up with 30-50-30-30-15, allowing me to create armies of 25k off of 10-12 castles.
