The Rock vs. Stone Cold, the absolute peak of professional wrestling. It's tragic that the decline came after the Ruthless Aggression era and the community of older fans who remember how good wrestling used to be are now forced to live in nostalgia. Seeing someone like MJF come on the scene gave me hope for the future but to see anything even come close to something like the Attitude era would be like witnessing a miracle. You just had the perfect people working with each other at the perfect time. I read someone describe it as lightning in a bottle and that's really what it was.

That was the true end of the attitude era as these two LEGENDS (in every sense of the word) defined the attitude era with their rivalry. Even though i and many other WWF/E fans of this era may have laughed at The Rock's selling of The Stone Cold Stunner, man it was awesome. Even talking about their matches the next day at school was awesome

When the pandemic hit, I started watching old WWF beginning with the Screwjob. I just finished WM19. These two brothas gave us so many All Time moments in such a short time.
