For last tweaked you can also right click the bottom-right button with the symbol of the rotary knob. Just a few clicks faster

Pro tip, if the last tweaked button wont work for what you want to automate, you can click the "make editor thumbnail" button in the top left dropdown of the plug in. This creates a button for every knob and control for the plug in you're using on the left browser.

LAST TWEAKED menu is also callable by right click on the "knob" button at the top

Just press current project then generators or effects then press the plug in from the drop-down and press the specific parameter then make automation clip
