How to EASILY Tie a Tie?!

The P.A. is perfect for teens. Not too fussy, easy to learn and definately takes the stuffiness out of a necktie. I still use it for "gotta wear a tie but I'm still hip at 63".

Many years ago when I was in the army and we had to wear our dress uniforms, very few of the guys knew how to tie, so they'd line up in the hall by my room and I'd tie them all. It was so cute having all these big tough guys stand their like 5th graders waiting for "mom" to tie their ties!

My advice for tie knots…learn the visual skill of reading knot diagrams. When you’ve done that, you’ll be able to look up any knot (for a necktie or any other situation) and execute! One of the Scouting skills I still use regularly!

A great knot. It’s the one my father taught me because even as a woman I was curious. Came in handy because my husband didn’t know how to tie a tie and to this day I always tie his ties. Even though he‘s known for years. It’s one of the highlights of my morning.

Neckties were in style for girls in the '80's. My dad taught me how to tie this knot, and I used my knowledge to tie ties for guys at school. (Our private school required ties for boys in chapel.) Upped my popularity a bit 😄
