Here’s one super important tip I recommend, do not drive vehicles directly to you’re base if you are solo people will track you, I like to go on foot most places but vehicles for longer distances

Over 10k hours in DayZ and I’ve been needing a break and this is the one! I didn’t like it for the first 10 hours in but I’ve come to really enjoy this, especially since learning the bunker keys, how to base raid and the fact you can have a personal storage at the traders. I’ve been getting messed up by people and boys are even better 😂 just ran the bunker with nothing, you can easily dodge the turrets if you go side to side!

the lighter is literally for moving through your base in the dark

Idk why but the sleeping bag is durable as hell like it takes a lot of melee hits to destroy

I've only played for about 4 hours so far, I i find it difficult to find food. I recently found some wells around the map for water, so that is handy.

Radio for enemies is not a good idea since other players will hear your radio go off. Only day one noobs use radio
Lighter is good for not being in the dark, but what everyon does is adjusts the brightness and contrast to see in the dark

Another good one is people can use your windows! Makesure you use less windows on your base and codelock the ones you have !

The bed idea is alright but someone could just walk up, put themselves on the tool cupboard and just pick your bag up
