This reminds of a giant honey mushroom that covers miles in the same fashion. Great video again Mason!

Great graphics and clips. You really educate. My friends in Colorado love their Aspens. Thanks Mase.

I understand the road being a problem, but deer have been on that mountain longer than we have.

That’s kind of stupid to keep the animals out from the grove of trees as they would be able to keep it healthy by pruning it and leaving their waste on the ground to fertilize the earth

I’m pretty sure we have those trees around southern Oregon. I believe one of my parents rental properties has them. Those little clones that pop up are crazy strong. They’re hard to keep up on.

Bamboo propagates in the same manner as the Aspen. Could some bamboo examples be equally old?

Fascinating. I do wonder about your concluding statements. " Protecting " Pando from deer? Seems like in 14000 years it did ok with critters munching. As for the road it looks like it is thriving on both sides of it

Lmbo they put up a fence to keep the deer out of their area? WTH? The deer browse they don't destroy trees. Enjoyed the video, I wonder how old the palmetto system is ? As it does the same as the aspens
