Hello :) reminded me of when I studied this. Just one correction, you don't have to look in calculator! The value of X0 is found as - the largest number whose square is smaller than or equal to N.

There are three numbers, 1, 2, 3 whose squares are 1, 4, 9 respectively. But 3 is largest. 4 is not considered because its square is 16 which is greater than N (being 15).
