Dont cut the low eq, just use the high pass filter and before the drop cut low eq. It creates an even better transition 😉

I find techno tracks too long for what they offer, end up cueing the next track up before the breakdown and swapping the bass and bringing the new track after the breakdown, keeps the energy going, most techno tracks are totally done after breakdowns anyway
