A video like this proves the worth of animation. Sure, there is the animations that are made purely to make money with little to no care put into them. But when given the right amount of love and care, a talented team can create something truly breahtaking. Thank you for sharing, Simon.

Listening to the Gris theme and seeing these shots that have such emotions tied to them from my memories...did not think you'd make me cry from a compilation!

Oh my god Tin Tin!! I didn’t expect to see that movie on here, an absolute masterpiece that I totally need to watch again

Prince of Egypt has by far my absolute favorite camera work and cinematography.

Everything about every shot tells a story and has something to say, and the colors are fucking beautiful.

Ahhh the Tin Tin boat scene really is one of the best pieces of 3d animation IMO. That movie is severely under rated.

Boy was I happy to see The House! I know it's new, but it has just some insane shots in it! It's amazing what people can do in animation. You have have only the limitation of your own imagination, and it just allows you to come up with some insane shot compositions!

If you haven't already seen it, you should watch "Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro". It has some extremely beautiful backgrounds and has Hayao Miazaki as director.

When I saw Fantastic Mr Fox for the first time as a kid, nothing in the movie made my cry except for that scene with the wolf. I don’t know why but the beauty of that moment was not lost on me, and I’ve loved animation ever since. Some excellent picks in here!

Sleeping Beauty's scene with Aurora walking in the woods has always been a favorite of mine.

Animation can be so beautiful you forget it's not real and knowing how long it takes to create it makes it even more beautiful.

Oogway passing is a favorite of mine as well. If I had a top 10 list, when Hiccup and toothless take Astrid flying for the first time would be up there

I truly feel that not enough people are aware of the studio Ghibli films, or at least don't give them the credit they deserve

Why did I get so emotional XD
Movies have such undescribable power, it's incredible

Please keep making these compilations. Your curation and compilation of these clips are such a fun way to gain insight on movies I haven't seen or worse yet, ones I've forgotten. You put these together with such a love for animation that it inspires me explore and revisit this beauty.

The House was a beautiful movie, especially that third part. Hope that studio does more.
Its a shame that animation in the mainstream has mostly been relegated to marketable kids movies or dime a dozen Family Guy/Rick and Morty adult comedy cartoons.

For me, Soul is right up there. There's something so visually compelling about that movie. It also looks the most realistic Pixar movie ever made (in terms of props and backgrounds)

Not gonna lie, when that shot of Ashitaka played, and then the nightwalker, I teared up a bit, princess mononoke is tied with Nausicaa as my favourite ghibli movies, they're so beautiful

Damn didn't know I'd be crying this morning. You picked some of my favorite scenes too. Have you seen Loving Vincent? I'm not entirely sure if it qualifies as animation but what they did was really cool.

Princess Mononoke, frankly all of the iconic Ghibli films, are such gorgeous masterpieces. I love the shot of San on top of Lady Eboshi’s iron works building
