We all know if she left, Deadpool would have let Parker know what was going on while following her to make sure she didnt do anything stupid before someone who could actually help her got there. But we got a... Wholesome story instead.

He wanted to give her the time of her life in case she didn't end up changing her mind about killing herself

I love the message of this comic. I doesn't take the easy way out, by having the hero talk the person back to feeling better. Deadpool just distracts her and takes her to a safe place. He has the wisdom to know that he can't help her.

I love how deadpool tries so many things to help her before realizing he isn't the one to do it. He tries and fails instantly at the whole, superhero style of this thing. Then tells her to go to Parker industries because he knows his best buddy would jump out and catch her mid-air. Then tries to cheer her up with Hamilton. And finally realizes that not every problem can be solved by a superhero, just a person with good intentions.

I think there’s something profound about writing a character who knows they aren’t smart enough to solve everyone’s problems. That’s all
