After 6 years of practicing judo, I give up ... I lost my shoulder after dislocating four times, and also after I returned from physical therapy ... I love judo, it is my hobby, but praise be to God, it may not be my destiny. I am a judo player with that. I will not give up on treating my shoulder 🤲🏻💪🏼

People underestimate Judo all the time. I’m a Jiu Jitsu player who cross trained Judo for a month before a tournament and wound up taking gold. I got spanked by everyone and their mother at the Judo academy but saw a huge difference against Jiu Jitsu guys.

I saw this video by algorithm.
I'm so sorry about South Korea defeated.
But regardless of win or lose, their matches were great!
I'm getting to know the charms of Judo.
Thanks for this video!

Intersting grip fighting. The sequencial formation of each judoka's game plan, cause and effect, manipulation of balance, and distance determing what is possible and what isn't is really interesting, also.

Excellent job, An Changrim, especially throughout the team competition! Young yet highly skillful and gutsy. 안창림 선수, 기량이 대단해요. 어린 나인데도 지극히 긴장되는 동안 침착히 대응하다 결국 한판승을 거둬내는 담력도 보통 아니고. 이번 팀 경기 때 큰 공을 세웠네요.

Hello, I Hope you're well.

This is <You Quiz on the Block> Korean TV show starring Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho.

In our program ep.119, Ahn Chang-rim, who is a bronze medalist of judo in Republic of Korea, will be featured on the show. so I want to use this video as a data screen. Please let us know whether we can get permission or not. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

if IJF is banning leg grabs then they should allow more time for ground fights or have the final match a ground fight to decide who breaks the passive penalties bullshit

Judo is part of my life as an artist.

Something is very wrong with this game of judo. 4 out of 5 matches are decided by passive warning.
Real bore.

I'm confused about something. I thought a match starts with the opponents very close to each other. Here, they begin from the edges of the mat. Was I misunderstanding or is that a set of rules for a lower level of competition?

Hate these rules, should be no win off of penalty in my opinion

The scoring system makes the game kind of boring. They should change it to whoever falls the ground first should lose maybe half a point. This way you can't just drop to the ground like that. Then it will be more fun.

One arm through Technic is very useful there to win easily

So I'm pretty new to judo (only a yellow belt). Can someone explain the  ruling to me? What are those yellow bars being given at certain moments in the match (like in the first match). I noticed in the first match, the Korean had a higher yellow bar than the Japanese man and the Japanese man won the match. So, is the yellow bar some type of penalty?
