When I worked in a Chinese we had a customer with a massive elaborate order with about 5 different chicken Currys, each individual curry specifically made (one hot, one nae onion ect) tonnes more as well. Mixed one diet coke with a coke and went fucking ballistic when they called back 😭😂

Two bits of nostalgia as a 90's teenager. 1. Ordering takeaways around my girlfriend's house..good times! Her mum excitedly putting out plates in the oven so they'd be warn for when the food would come. Living back home in Italy now, I haven't had a takeaway for probably 15 years now. And 2. That home telephone...we used to have one of those 😂

this takes me back to a time when i visited Glasgow in 1985, id driven there on my bmw motorbike fron Birmingham, and arrived at my uncle mics at 10.30pm june, so it was still daylight. we went for a wee swally and a chinese takeaway, we couldnt get over the fact that the chinese that worked there, all spoke with thick glaswegian accents!!
