Hi Sam. Another great score 👍 I had no idea that The Gumball Rally was on laserdisc, the hunt is on 🙂 Cheers, Alan.

WOW, Tombs of the Blind Dead? I bow to you, Culturedog more like CultureKING, that's a DEEP CUT!!! 0_0 Excellent taste and good find on the laserdisc!

That is almost exactly what I said to myself when I found Too Wong Foo amongst a bundle I bought; I immediately went on to eBay searching for Priscilla.

Checked my Warhol Criterions and, sadly or not (dependant), they also have the stickers. Not sure I noticed that before.

Been failing to win Dellamorte and Tombs for a while now. But I do have Legend of Hell House. A favourite of mine from when I was probably way too young to be watching such things. Benefits of having had a horror nut for a mother; you get to see all the good stuff that all the kids at school refuse to believe you've seen.

Sam I think you should follow suit of Wolfpack and go for a full dts laser disk set.

Great September update series! If you ever get a chance to see Flesh for Frankenstein in a cinema in 3D, I would highly recommend the experience. They screened the 3D version at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto at some point in the 90s and it's even more fun in 3D. Having a rowdy audience also helps!

I just ordered a sealed copy of the Titanic you showed. Also searched for The Gumball Rally (on eBay) and it was beat up and expensive. I saw it theatrically. The same for Andy Warhol's Frankenstein (X rated cut).

Tombs Of the Blind Dead is really cool, and very METAL. Part 2 is pretty cool too

I still have that initial release of Apocalypse and it sounds amazing. The remastered version is on my hit list...

I also have Hearts on LD. That is one of my favorite films, period.

Was that Spartacus LD release the first time the "Snails and Oysters" scene was put back in and first seen? They had to get Anthony Hopkins to do the redubbing and ADR because Olivier had passed away by then and he sounded the closest they could get to his voice. I heard the original blu ray had some really bad DNR problems.

Why did they change the Aspect ratio of Apocalypse Now when the Redux DVD came out?
