in helldivers 1, the impalers were heavily armored enemies with three tendrils where its face would be. it would burrow them through the ground and have them pop up and whip them around helldivers, it would take just 1-2 hits to kill you. however while its tendrils were buried on the ground, that would reveal its squishy weak point and leave it completely immobile

Wow they didn't even mention the Hivelord or the Illuminate, so we can expect all of that to come in pretty soon as well. Also on the banner at the end of the trailer you can see the Automaton orbital ships that were leaked a while ago, so those will be coming in too. Insane update and just what Helldivers needed!
