For Ginny to ultimately be Harry’s love interest, I feel like they didn’t really give her much attention in films 1-5. There were a few moments here and there, but they didn’t really dedicate much time for Ginny and Harry’s connection. Aside from chambers of secrets of course when there were a few moments when Ginny was crushing on Harry and ultimately Harry saves her at the end, besides that though, they never really showed much in any of the other films 1-5. Ginny was barely in PoA or GoF. It wasn’t until half blood prince when Ginny and Harry were really into each other. Idk it all just seemed a bit all of a sudden to me. At least how it’s portrayed in the films anyway.

They use their owls to keep contact with one another both making sure that the other is still alright

This should’ve happened, there’s room for it to have happened, and therefore I will always believe it did happen

This is my head canon and I accept no others
