This Is The Only Way To Reheat Leftover Steak

When you are dining and intending to splurge on a decadent meal, the usual go-to item at a high-end restaurant is a juicy steak. You can’t go wrong with a T-bone, porterhouse, or ribeye for dinner, and all you need is a glass of red wine to go with it.

There is never a dull bite when you order steak for dinner, but you better bring your appetite to the table, because reheated steak will not give you the same joys as the previous night.

If you do happen to be in a situation where you want to salvage a leftover steak, this is the only way to reheat it.

"this is the only way to reheat a steak" proceeds to show 2 ways.

I reheat by putting leftover fat on top of steak, wrapping in foil, and putting on oven rack at 250F. Works perfectly every time.

I trusted the comment section and put cup up steak into the air dryer at 380 for 5 minutes and it tasted SO GOOD!

If you’re saying youve never had leftover steak you must not be eating a tomahawk solo like I normally lol

I always give my leftover steak to my dog. She is a good girl and deserves a special treat now and then.

Easiest way, by far and the best way to reheat anything....is in an Airfryer. Only takes minutes and it's good to go.

There is no reason to reheat it any other way than sous vide. All other methods result in overcooked dried out steak. If you do not have a sous vide, simply use running hot water in a pot or bowl to act as a sous vide. It won't get quite as hot as a sous vide can, but it gets hot enough to warm up the steak. Simply put your steak in a ziplock bag, place it in the pot, then put it under running water from your faucet at the hottest temperature. It won't hit cooking temps, but its already cooked you don't need that, it should heat it up to somewhere around 120 degrees give or take a few degrees depending on your hot water heater.

I have a steak now in the fridge hence my visit here. I'm thinking of trying to heat butter like you would for lobster and dipping bite size pieces of my cold steak into the hot butter for a few seconds. Always microwaved them before with lackluster results but admit not with the method in the video so may have to try that also. Going to try the hot butter today I think. What could go wrong as it sounds so good to me anyway.

Sous vide. You vacuum seal the left overs and just pop it in the water the next day. 125 is optimum. It won't overcook the meat.

This comment is here because reheating leftover steak is like re-freezing left over ice cream on the cone....but leftover steak is good 😁.
