I am already both a Doctor and an Engineer at age 31 with 2 years of job experience in world renowned IT Company TCS as well !! My news never got published whereas she has barely entered medical school and only an engineer as of now and her news has gone viral, such is life !!

I can see she is really hardworking and dedicated. Being a NEET aspirant myself, 676 is really good score. Good luck to her👍🏼

I am 39and I didn’t want to settle for anything lesser either. Everyone deserves to do what you are passionate about. Don’t settle for anything less.Go get the world tigers!

Fellow Indians! Here's is my story, got admission into both engineering and medicine in 2009. But for some weird reason, I thought I am not going to enjoy direct patient care. Was curious to learn biology and enjoyed it more than Mathematics. And chose to become a Mechanical Engineer. After working 5 years in construction management as a mechanical engineer, moved to the US for a master's in mechanical engineering, COVID-19 gave me ample time to re-evaluate what I want to do in life. Decided to test the waters, enrolled in medical terminology class in a local community college! I will be graduating with a Master's in clinical data science in 2024. So here is the takeaway! Pursue whatever as long as you enjoy the process of learning.

This is truly inspiring. But for this we need to be financially stable or atleast need to belong to a rich family as a backup. Otherwise family and financial pressure at the age of 29 is unimaginable

Now all she has to do is become an astronaut, and she'll be in the league of Robert Satcher and Jonny Kim

If Half of her self confidence I had in life, I would have been doing a lot better right now. I mean this girl means business when it comes to social stigma around us 👍

I am going through the exact same thing. Switched my field from Mechanical Engineering just because I wasnt interested in it anymore, left 2 job offers of 12LPA, just to work on something I believed in. Invented a Medical Device for the most complicated bone joint in human body and won a Presidential Award for it. Currently learning Software Development and leaving everything behind that I have ever learned in my life. All this, at the age of 28. Loving every moment of the transition and never been more satisfied career-wise. From high pressure and extensive hardwork for GATE 2018 to initiating a tech startup and learning latest software tech, I can closely related and feel the happiness and excitement she is talking with and the fear, anxiety, uncertainty and plathora of questions she had went through in the transition. In upcoming years, I am gonna be the next big thing.

PS: when I decided to not to accept the job offer and keep working on my device, I had absolutely no financial backing, I refused to take a single penny from my family, "managed" my finances somehow. Dealt with High stress, anxiety and lots of sleepless night filled with utter insecurity, doubts and whatnot. 10 months like this, THEN the good things started to happen.

ONLY Trust yourself and the process.
Everything else is mere speculation.

I am 26, and I am going through an identity crisis. I finished my M.Sc. in Physics at 23, and after that, it's been 3 years, and I didn't know what to do next. Earlier I thought that the natural thing to do next would be a Ph.D. But then I realized I didn't want to do a Ph.D. During the lockdown, when everything stopped, I became totally careless and didn't make any decisions about the future. Now, at 26, the realization that 30 is coming makes me paranoid. At 24, you feel like there is a lot of time, but everything changes two years later. People asking me about my studies just two years ago are now asking me about marriage.

Watching this video is giving me hope. I really respect this lady's courage to start something afresh at 29. That is also a degree from scratch. I am feeling hopeful that it is never too late.

Its not a joke to be an Engineer from Bits and later think of choosing an entirely different career path. An average Bits graduate earns a lot. Leaving the money factor behind and following your passion being 29 years old requires guts!! kudos Aakriti ma'am.
