Engineer's Early-Morning Secret

Sniper always gets up early to find a spot from which to pick off the enemy team as they're still groggy with sleep. This morning though, the Engineer is early to rise too, and it seems he's been hiding something...

Just some fun with voice splicing and lip-syncing. This literally went from initial idea to final product in less than a day.

(Small explanation for those who don't know: "Applejack," as mentioned by the Engineer at the end, is the Texan-sounding horse.)

@ChannelWT Well, see, that's the thing. The show started becoming popular initially due to real fans of animation, like myself (though I personally wasn't into it until a couple months later) seeing it, expecting it to be bad and being very pleasantly surprised by its honest excellence in all areas -- smoothness of animation, character design, music, voicework, writing, etc. despite its attached IP. It just kept going from there, and snowballed I think more for the cuteness than anything.

@ChannelWT The thing is, a lot of us Western animation fans just have been waiting a long, long time for some new cartoons that're truly good, truly 'charming' like that, and though Adventure Time earlier last year was a huge step in the right direction I'd say, ponies really just stole the spotlight. It IS definitely still a show for girls and all, so some people might not quite get it, but it totally fits the bill as far as what real cartoon fans have been waiting for.
