I think he is right about machines doing a better job than humans, but that doesn't mean we can just do nothing. We humans must stay occupied or our brains and muscles start to deteriorate very rapidly.
We will need to continue to have jobs doing whatever we can do or our society will collapse.

Elon we do have a need to be cautious; however, I believe that the AFT & NEA should be VERY CONCERNED! Imagine education driven by AI instead of POLITICS

I am an ai trainer and just in the last month I am no longer sophisticated enough to correct, I can't solve the problems I give it. I have to use another AI and if they both agree then I assume it is correct. I'm pretty sure if I spent hours working on correcting an answer that it provided in 5 seconds I would get fired. In fact, I cheat on my own time sheet and free time quite a bit because I can't keep up with it.

Elon is a modern day tesla, einstein, Plato, and Socrates. We need to listen to him and embrace what he is saying. Trust when I say...Elon Musk will go down as one of he great minds of history. And we are lucky enough to live aside him.

Imagine if the only people that could buy Teslas, were employees of Tesla. And they could buy the cars because they could save from their wages.

Now imagine the whole workforce was fired and robots end up running the Tesla. Who would buy their cars ?

Company owners see robots and AI as ways of getting rid of employees and saving money, but they don’t seem to realise, those are the people that end up buying the products they are making.

He is right, if most of the jobs are replaced by the robot, the companies who use only robots need to pay tax so that the government can re-distribute them as universal income to support human communities.
