The world is a very unfair place. We all know childless men and women who would have made perfect parents. We all, also, know folks who have children who are lousy parents.

I am a 70 yo childless conservative woman. I do not have mothering instincts. I recognized this early in life and have no regrets.

I have a daughter and she has a cat, a son and boyfriend. They all live at my house. I am seventy still working full time to pay the bill s on the house. I wish these guys would get real. How many people have grown children liveing at home. The last thing my daughter needs is another child.

Why assume everyone wants children? Some people ( myself included ) realize they would not make a good parent. Having children is a right and to know that a child would not get all the love it deserves, is by far a better option than having one because you can.
