You're the only one that explained it to where it really made sense to me! Haha! I've always been scared to plant seeds in the fall, scared that they're just going to die! But with you saying how the previous plant of a Hardy annual drops ots seeds in the fall, and the new baby plant starts growing that fall before winter...

Really enjoy seeing the different stages of growth of these plants... I’m growing cut flowers for the first time 🌸

Now I wish I had put more seeds in the Fall. I am in 5b, so will try wintersowing in milk bottles to get some going. Love hearing what works for you. Trying to have more blooms!

I especially appreciated seeing the plants at different stages of development. Helps me to properly identify what I've sown in the fall.

Thank you so much for all you information i am so happy with it. I had a lot hardy annual seeds and i think it is so wordy to sow it now if you see the difference. I also bought to book you suggested of Cool flowers. So happy with your advice. And i think it is wonderful you showed the difference. I haven't seen that anywhere yet and that is so good to see. so again thank you so much :) I love your video's.

Here it is November 2021, and I'm rewatching this one for a great refresher on Cool Flower planting!
I'm in Texas, zone 8, and we're always a couple months behind all of y'all up North. So even all the way into November I'm just barely "on time" to plant my Cool Flower seeds outside. For instance, today my high temperature is forecasted to be 79°, and our lows this week are 54°.
The soil is still warm enough to plant seeds, and the nights are still mild.
I will be crossing my fingers for continued mild temps like this, the weather could turn on a dime, but hey, it's definitely worth a shot!
Thanks for the great info in this vid!! ❤

Thanks for showing the plantings over time. I was just introduced to the concept of fall planting of hardy annuals, but couldn’t see how it all comes together. Just what I needed to see! I am looking forward to and starting to plan for September sowing like never before!!🌸 Thanks for explaining it all!

One of the best explanations for fall sowing that I've found!! It demystified the process for me. I'm going to try it this year. Thank you!!

Because of you and your wonderful videos I got the Cool flowers book from the library and am going to give it a try! I’m in zone 6 & in no way a flower farmer, I’m just an impatient person who loves flowers! Lol Please show more videos on how to put together these beautiful hardy flowers in a way that looks most appealing or give tips on how not to mess it up 😊
Thanks so much for sharing your time, creativity and talents!
