Emerging Artists & Identity Work

This panel seeks to explore the complex work of curating and exhibiting emerging artists whose work is centered on processing, formulating, challenging or reimagining their identities. Emerging artists may include BFA, MFA or solo-exhibitions of early career bodies of work, specifically those anchored in exposing themes of identity formation through societal, political, cultural, or personal narratives. Contemporary exhibitions will anchor this conversation, yet diverse medias, cultures and global representation will be reflected in this discussion.
