Let me tell you, your channel is soooo much better than most other cooking channels! Yes, your recipes are great and actually work like they are supposed to but more than that. So many channels have that annoying music and either don't even include the ingredients with measurements or put the words on the screen. It's hard to cook if you have to watch the screen! Plus they offer no explanation on techniques or the reasons behind them.

I tried this recipe with one HUGE change. I did it with water based tuna. Delish! Huge hit. I'm going to try another po' substitution and try it with canned crab meat.

Great recipe, simple to make and lets the crab shine. My family is super picky about onions, and I found sweet red onions that are delicious and make everyone happy, give it a try, comes out delicious. Also, a good way to help crab cakes keep their shape is roll them in plane breadcrumbs, it doesn’t dilute the taste but adds stability and crunch to the outside.

I made this with fish instead of crab. My grocery sells their left over small pieces of white fish as "chowder" fish at a discounted price $4/lb. It came out delicious!
