OK. First you need to wet the grout bag completely. Then turn the top of the bag on itself to the outside. Fill bag. The grout should have vinyl adhesive anded and it helps if the mortar mix is slightly rich, a little less sand. Use GOOD grade rubber gloves if not your hands will be raw at the end of the day. Rinse the grout bag out in a 5 gallon bucket of water every time so the grout comes out easier each time. Start at the bottom, head joints first then the "beds" as you go up. When you grout the heads the mortar will have something to "lay" on. Make sure you grout all the way into the joints. Next, patience! Let the mud set. Touch it with your finger. If it tends not to just "mush" in it "could" be time to joint. You don't want the grout to smear. PS Start somewhere it's not so noticeable. Down low and inconspicuous.. Good Luck One more thing, what you're seeing is a reusable grout bag. They make a disposable one that's a whole lot cheaper and you just toss it, they're made of a very durable clear plastic. And yes if you clean them out good you can reuse them.
