Today we look at the river at the north of the map that seems unpassable, but we find a way to get across to see what is on the other side.

New goal: Build a floor that covers the entire river. Migrate zombies to the other side.

you see nothing, I see infinite building and farming space

When I was a kid, I played GTA San Andreas and played a mission on an off-map island. I was convinced it has to be out there somewhere and I was determined to find it. I swam for hours on end.

Sorry for the super short video but it's exam week for us college kids so unfortunately I didn't have the time I wanted to make a video but I hoped you guys enjoyed it anyways.

This game's depiction of Indiana is spot-on

I’m really thankful that you made this one. Because I know myself well enough to know that if you hadn’t I would’ve eventually tried to cross the river myself! 😉

I did this on my first or second playthrough, spent a couple hours trying to find a point to cross the river then gave up and decided to build across it instead. After even longer, I ran straight thinking I’d get to the city but instead met the void. Great learning experience

I recently built a big bridge from kingsmouth to this place, rigth now im travelling here with my car and in all the way i notice some things:
1) this territory its not clear of zombies but they are rare to find and if You find them its not much more that 3 simple zombies for group.
2) there is a big forest in this place its the only place with something here and is crossing the river from west point ( you can make your base here but watch out with the zombies hiding there)
3) if You are Smart enough you can access to Louisville from here crossing with another bridge from the river without being in danger of LOTS of zombies all the time (thing that im doing right now).

Interesting question arrived.

Do zombies respawn on the other side of the river? If not, you could restore the civilization on the other side. Asking for Roleplay purposes :o

wait, you can cross the river but there's nothing on the other side, but can you build stuff there? If so, it's a perfect place to make a base, as long as zombies don't spawn there.

It would be interesting if the devs removed the option to build on the water but added things on the other side of the river so that it'd be encouraging to players to go there (by boats or something of the sort)

I made the effort to build a bridge. And found... nothing. Can't even forage over there. But, it was a task I set before myself and I succeeded.

I imagine eventually the devs will add more areas, including the other side of the river. I know Fort Knox is next on their list.

What the real gamer move would be is to build the world's largest race circuit on the other side of the river.

To be fair there's nothing in Indiana once you leave Louisville IRL anyways - Your Local Louisvillian

0:29 I’m watching this with soaking wet rigger boots and socks whilst locked out. I would rather be your worst enemy

There is a mod called over the river that does add bridges across with content on the other side

When World of Warcraft Vanilla came out, I literally just said fuck the leveling for now, and swam my druid around the continent, exploring. Took about 5-8+ hours, don't remember exactly.

I can relate about not caring, and just dicking time for the most miniscul of rewardingness.
