1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 large eggs
1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
1 cup whipped cream (optional)

It's not pumpkin pie without nutmeg. Also, don't use the whole can of evaporated milk --too runny/too much filling. Other than that, this is classic pumpkin pie. But I HAVE to add 1/2 tsp of nutmeg, or it tastes ...off (to me, at least)
