Tim Heidecker, one of the country’s best stand-up comedians, is pleased to present his first-ever stand-up special, An Evening With Tim Heidecker, directed by Ben Berman.

Filmed in Los Angeles in pre-COVID times and produced by Abso Lutely, it features Tim’s unique, no-holds-barred takes on modern inconveniences, PC culture, politics and marriage. You can call it a send-up, a parody, a character, a performance piece, or whatever you’d like, but at the end of the day, it’s jokes! Please clap.

There are so many ways he forces a reaction from the crowd outside of just telling jokes it’s actually brilliant. The whole thing is a desperate attempt to get literally any kind of reaction. Names popular music artists, brands, etc just to get an applause. He doesn’t even care if it’s for him. Forces a marriage proposal just to hear the audience clap. It’s definitely a thing where you need to watch multiple times to catch all the details in some of these bits

I can't believe how rapid fire the jokes were. I counted something like 4 jokes in 60 minutes. Most comedians pull off a joke per hour, but Tim is firing them out at a joke per 15 minutes. A comedic genius.

Tim Heidecker is an exceptional comedian who spends an entire stand-up act pretending to be a bad comedian. I never thought this would be my new favorite comedy genre.

The intricacies are immaculate. Him constantly checking his notes, the “there’s more to the story” and then proceeding to describe the exact same thing with no punchline, the impish fake laughter when he amuses himself with his own horrible jokes
