I live in East Lampeter Twp. and my Daughter graduated from Conestoga Valley H.S., she was in their I.U. 13 gifted program, she graduated 9th in her class, while participating on the Cross Country team. She went on to Graduate from Gettysburg College, 8th in her class, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, she also competed in Cross Country all four years and twice, consecutively won the Female Athlete Academic award.

Conestoga Valley not only provided an excellent academic curriculum, but also a great environment for personal growth.

On more great thing about this School District is some of the lowest property School Taxes in Lancaster County, due to the preponderance of commercial properties in East Lampeter Twp. Having said that, my Daughter did attend Penn Manor School District for kindergarten and first grade and Manheim Twp. for second grade where she was identified as gifted, all three are great school districts, granted that my Daughter graduated High School in 1996. Education WAS VERY IMPORTANT in our household and my Daughter is a teacher now in the Hereford School District in Baltimore County.

I am 7th generation native Lancasterian and would not live anywhere else.

Manheim Twp. is great if you can afford it and all the School Districts listed here the stats overall are really close. Taxes are really high in Manheim Twp.,
