It works . Thank you. but during the three time turn on and off, you must wait for the “To start Press break” or “Full accessories on” thingy to show up before you turn it off, and then repeat doing it for 3 times. If it’s still there, drive it for like 15-20 minutes. And just park it for about 30 minutes (off engine) then when u turn it on again hopefully the light is off.

PS: only what I did on my ford fusion. Hope this helps if you can’t figure it out. Maybe ur just doing it incorrectly

2022 ford f150 powerboost here, it worked. Order is:

Turn off when running

Open the door

Shut the door

Press start one time without touching brake pedal, press off

Press start second time without touching brake, press off

Press start third time without touching brake, press off

Press start fourth time with foot on brake and the car should start and clear code

Here's another one that works that I found out by accident.
I have Ford Pass on my phone when the check engine light is on your remote start won't work off the key fob.
So I thought let ne try the Ford pass remote start.
Ford pass remote start will attempt to start the vehicle 3 times when eack time it fails the horn will sound 1 time.
Got in to start it and the check engine light was off. This was on a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium.

Worked for my 17 mustang pressed power button 4 times and started on the 5th and waited a little longer before pressing button maybe 2-3 seconds between each press
