WHY DENTISTRY? The ultimate dental school interview response

Learn exactly how to respond to the dental school interview question, "why dentistry?" and "why not medicine?" with Joel. And at the end of the video I talk about what goes into a rewarding career and why dentistry is a great fit for many people.

Throughout out my entire life I thought I wanted to be a physician. This pandemic really made me think much more about the future and now I'm leaning more towards dentistry. All the points you mentioned in the video made me realize that dentistry is definitely a better fit for me!

My reason for dentistry was instant gratification. I love being able to help and get my patients out of pain in less than an hour of work. Follow up calls where they say how happy they are and how they can eat dinner makes me so happy. I’m a dental assistant now but I’m on predental track in college right now.
