Good job man. Shell scripting can get alot done. If your looking to automate builds and install, look at Ansible. It uses a yaml configuration language to define tasks. I use it at work and in my personal projects.

To automate LAMP installation and setting up it's better to use Ansible. ;)

Hello,
I just have a general question, kind of unrelated to the video. I am just debating between a computing security degree or Computing Information Technology Degree, in this case would a computing security degree get me the IT and Cybersecurity skillset?, while the IT degree would just get me IT? I am considering joining the military after college through ROTC, and feel as if Cybersecurity would be more fruitful than IT.

You do realise you can install lamp with 3 terminal commands (4 if you want phpMyAdmin)

Sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Sudo apt install tasksel

Sudo tasksel install lamp-server

There is another way to install lamp with 2 terminal commands. Off the top of my head it's

Sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Sudo apt install lamp-server^
