Lol they just reduced the fine you can charge from $250 to $150. Also if the guest leaves no physical evidence (vaccums the car, takes video when leaving), you can't charge them

I would advise to invest an ionizer and change the air filters after people smoke in the car. It will stop the smell from continuing to be blown in the car even after you’ve gotten detailed/cleaned

The opposite happened with me, didn't smoke anything during my vacation but was in the Las Vegas desert, so the dust from the ground looked like cigarette ash and the claim went through :/ Still fighting the charge...

I work for a rental car company try nuven air it’s a little device you put in the cup holder fill with water put a tablet in it and after 20 minutes it will get rid of the smell then you will want to air out the car for another 20 then it’s good to go otherwise it will smell like a pool in the car if you don’t air it out

As a person who does Turo too I know exactly why you and I love it when gust smoke in the car I mean it is a little hassle to clean up but at least I can hit them with the fine and I’ll get that money
