I never get tired of watching Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

T2 is and still remains the benchmark for badass action cinema to this day. Far superior to Dark Fate and it revolutionized the film industry with groundbreaking sfx. Robert Patrick remains along with Arnold Schwarzenegger T800 as an iconic Terminator as the T1000. Also it is the movie for which Arnie appears in Hero/Villain lists playing the same character. The story really ended here.

Saw T2 in 70MM when it was first released back in '91 and to saw that my mind was blown was an understatement!!! Such a fantastic movie!!

You guys are awesome! Terminator 2 was definitely the definitive movie for me growing up. Everyone involved in it was at the height of their careers: James Cameron, Arnie, Linda, Stan Winston, Brad Fiedel. The action is much more grounded and realistic, I agree. In addition to the points you’ve made, that blue night look they had in every night scene in T2 looked incredible. I miss that look in movies!

This trailer pissed me off at the time, the film up to the mall was like who is good who is bad? The trailer however was like let me spoil it for you and tell you who is good and bad

Nice video! T2 is one of the greatest action movies ever to be made. It is my favorite one of the series.

The mall where part of the movie was filmed is in Northridge ca and I used to live right across the street from it and where they filmed the pych ward scenes where Sara Conner was being held is close to where I also lived

My 15 minutes of fame story: my dad worked at a semiconductor company next door to the Cyberdyne filming location, and he had gotten advanced warning with the other employees about the T2 filming schedule.

My family ended up camped out in our van, watching Arnold with the M134 mini-gun and the squibs going off.

Have to hand it to Cameron’s location scout: that particular commercial building complex had just started construction a year before, and wasn’t fully finished or leased yet. It was in the heart of Silicon Valley, and yes, not far from Raging Waters.

Back in the day, this trailer spoiled the film with the reveal of Arnold being good this time. And honestly, if I was watching this for the first time, I would rather be surprised to know about Arnold's new turn around of character rather get it revealed in the trailer.

T2 began the portion of Arnold's career where he was always trying to be the Box Office King. He only played likeable good guys that the audience would cheer for. I don't think he played another bad guy again until Batman & Robin, and then after that nearly two solid decades of playing the hero again.

Both are equally great but I like T2 especially knowing the fact that use to go to the mall that the mall scene was filmed

One of my favourite movies of all time watched it a lot as a kid, I had a huge crush on Edward Furlong.. Sarah Connor was just a bad ass female character.. her and Ellen Ripley from alien are the best female characters for me 👊🏼

Cameron took the terminator and alien franchises and used the same premise but differed the execution of each sequel, at their hearts both movies have the exact same premise as the first movies of their respective franchises.

Ooof... That trailer was bad. I remember seeing this in theaters and was stunned at the time, they gave the big twist away in the trailer. Now, it's common practice.

The only trailer this movie needed at the time was that T2 teaser trailer, where we see Skynet making the terminators in the factory. That was all we needed.

Hold on... People said when this movie came out they didn't know if Arnold was the good guy but it clear as day he was gonna protect John Conner this time..

Just watch the Endoskeleton factory teaser for T2 and compare the greatness of practical effectes combined with horror and look to Dark Fate then!Disgusting!

Funny to hear Vanessa's story about being surprised that Arnold was once the villain, having seen T2 first. How old were you when you saw them? Also, I'm bummed the there will never be a sequel to Genisys, since Arnie got a T-1000 upgrade in the end! That would have been fun to see him imitating people and have other actors play "Arnold" when he's in disguise.
