I love this time period in Star Wars so much, more so than the prequel, old trilogy or new films time periods. The Darth Bane book trilogy rule of two are some of my favourite Star Wars books and I re read them every couple years, plus some of the further back old republic books too. So good.

*Fun fact:* the Great Hyperspace War was actually alluded in the prequels, as one of the many Valuables located in the office of the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic was a frieze that depicted one battle of the first Jedi VS Sith War, being that fact confirmed in the novelization of Episode III
