In this video I will find how much money was invested at 4.5% and 6% with a initial $15,000 investment.

Waw I never realized that the rule "try to move all the x's on the left side" was a legitimate rule (I thought it did not matter, thought it was more of a best practice). In this case it had to be done (depending how the problem was written) otherwise there would be a negative answer. I really need to be more thoughtful and ask 'What do I want my final outcome to be' (positive or negative).

Thank you for these videos, I've been able to review so many subjects thanks to you!
One question: At the 3:00 mark, why wouldn't we multiply and distribute the 1, 000 through the (15, 000 - x) term?  Is it because the two terms (15, 000 - x) multiplied by (0.06) are really considered one term since they are multiplied by each other...so we can only multiply one of those terms by 1, 000?  I'm just trying to understand the mathematical reasoning for this.

Excuse me, great video! But, i do not get one thing, if x represents the amount invested at 4.5% why should we have to multuply it by 4.5% again? 1:53
