So many people ignore this part of Iceland, but you shouldn't! For the next few days we're venturing to the Northeastern part of Iceland before heading back to Reykjavik, and we're going to show you why you should plan this overlooked part of Iceland for your road trip itinerary.

We booked a FareDrop flight deal to travel to Iceland for just $388 each. In this video we continue along the Ring Road, heading from the Northeast back to Reykjavik. We'll be hitting up stops at the Viti Crater in Krafla, Dettifoss, and Blue Lagoon. Plus a swim through tectonic plates.

my wife and i loved our time in reykjavik in Februray 2023, for our anniversary trip. It was cold (not as cold as I thought though) and snowy. Because it was winter we did not rent a car but stayed at the hotel holt and walked or took guided tours every where. I don't know if you knew of the Phallological Museum in Reykjavik, but it was interesting; my wife enjoyed it (too much I think). It was great to see the locations we visited again, selfoss and thingvelir as well as the blue lagoon. I want to return in the summertime to compare the adventures; yours looked like fun!

In the 80s growing up in southern California, we had family friends who had a pretty big piece of land that only had sulfur water. After an hour or so, you don't smell it anymore, and it's really good for your skin and clothes, LOL
