Just rebuilt my 1999 tmaxx. Original engine, transmission, differentials and servos. She freaking RIPS STILL! Highly recommended for new people who want to reignite nitro RC. Its not a cheap hobby, but if you learn how to maintain your truck, it is one of the most fun things you can get into with your pants on. Used to only love driving it, but now enjoy the maintenance as well. Love wrenching on these and pimping them out, getting them tuned and hearing that 50, 000 rpm scream from that engine. Burned out way too many batteries, motors, and ESC's in electric trucks that it just wasn't fun for me.

I was around for the foundation of the R/C hobby in the 80's, started off with a Midnight Pumpkin and a Hornet. Then I had a Blackfoot. Once that one died, I bought a Stampede. That was back when Traxxas was fairly new to the scene, mine had the old Dodge Ram body. The performance of that truck astounded me compared to the Tamiya models. There was no comparison. I started watching videos recently of what's out there now and it is mind blowing what these new models are capable of!

Well I have a illness, hop up- idist.😁 Have a ultimate monster slash 4x4. Nothing is left from truck I took out of the box. Top to bottom replaced EVERYTHING. It's a brute. Then there's the MAXX. It too is decked out head to toe. I LOVE these beasts. Enjoy "wrenching" as much if not more than bashing. But buyers beware, you WILL spend lots of time and money in this great hobby. AMAIN is THE place to get your "FIX".😁👍

I will gladly pay ‘Traxxas tax’ as others call it, for the best part support and customer service in the industry. I own many brands, but Traxxas has to be one of my top favorites along with Arrma.

My favorites will always be the slash and stampede. I loved my stampede. I have my slash 4x4 with OBA now and I love it

In Germany the Bandit is not very common, because the Rustler is just about 10 bucks more and it performs way better. I would not recommend the T-Maxx because its not as tough as the Revo 3.3 and the price is almost the same.
I would recommend the Revo 2.0 instead of the UDR. In Germany the UDR is very expensive and its not as tough, fast, smooth.
