This is not loving nor parenting. Its confusing and misleading an innocent child.. we teach them not to have everythg they want because the world outside is hard then why allowing him to be a she instead of encouraging him to love the gender he was born.

My daughter when she was around 4 she said she wanted to be a boy and change her name and dress like a boy. I told her she was a girl and if she still felt the same way when she was older then we would discuss it further. She was not to happy about it. She is now 12 and is the girliest girl you will ever meet. Turns out she wanted to be like her two older brothers. She is the only girl and is the baby of our family. At that age she didn't understand she can still do things boy do with out fully turning into a boy. I know that's not everyone situation but I do feel in a situation like this you shouldn't feed into it. Wait till there older and understand exactly what it is there looking for and missing and then take the steps to assist them and support them in those permanent life decisions.

Growing up I was the only girl with 4 brothers . Our Dad raised us by himself. We grew up on a farm . I dressed like a boy, worked like a boy and acted like a boy . At 14 I realized I also liked boys. 😂

He probably longed for the love and attention his sister gets. So he wants to emulate her. He wants the love she gets. They do that with super hero’s too. Mom and dad failed miserably in this situation. Show him the same love and attention as a boy and he will gladly show you who he is…all boy!

As a child, I wanted to be a boy. I told my parents and kept asking to be a boy. My mom laughed it off each time. I was so upset and was really envious of boys for many years to come.


I am now 32 yo. I am so happy she laughed it off. I needed a parent, not a friend. She was a parent. I now realized that I wanted to be a boy because I'm the only girl in my house and had no one else to play with. I was trying to earn play time with my brothers.
