The U.S. Military has six branches to it, with each of them having their own boot camp. In order to get into any of these branches, you have to get through them.

In this video, we’re covering Army Basic Training, Navy Boot Camp, Marine Boot Camp, Air Force Basic Military Training, Coast Guard Boot Camp, and Space Force Basic Military Training. Each branch has a different boot camp, with different lengths, standards, training, and way of life. If you want to know what every U.S. military boot camp is like, watch this video!

One important aspect to note. If you went through Marine bootcamp and decide to re-enlist in another branch, you don’t have to do that branch’s bootcamp. If vice versa, you go the Marines for re-enlistment, you have to go through Marine bootcamp. Why you’d ever switch from any other branch to Marines is beyond me though

Air Force basic training is not physical it’s about being able to think make decisions, think on your feet self motivation, problem-solving

Basic is literally a game and the only thing that changes are the faces. Play the game to win, and move on. That simple!

Boot Camp of any branch is a life changing event that any one who endured will ever forget. (Marines)

As devil dog… boot camp was one of the most important events of my life. The confidence and pride that it builds and instills in you can really carry you to great places. Joining the USMC was one of the best choices I ever made. Not because of great experiences and an easy life but because of who it turned me into. The sacrifices were worth it in the end. Yut Yut kill 😂

I joined the Navy in 1979. There were three boot camps then; Orlando, Great Lakes, San Diego. It was summer and I wanted to go to boot camp in San Diego, but they said I could only go to Orlando. I told them that I'm going to San Diego, or I won't sign on the dotted line. I walked away. Three weeks later I got a phone call from my recruiter telling me that they got me boot camp in San Diego. I made sure it was all in writing, and then I signed up. Lesson: once you sign that contract you lose all negotiating power. So, get it all down in writing.

I treated basic training like a game of Simon says, legit held no hard feeling when being screamed at or put on my face

Yes please do an officer version. Officer training varies wildly between the branches and especially the commissioning sources so I'd love to see it.

Maybe 50 years have dulled my memories, but I remember Army Basic and A.I.T. as being easy. Whichever you choose, know that they can only harrass you for so long. And, it is extremely unlikely that anyone is actually going to hurt you. So, lean into it, you are getting stronger.

I kinda remember Air Force basic training from the mid to late 70 an it was one of the best times of my life. My Dad (God rest on peace) was a Air Force lifer who brought me up an made me the Man I am today, I thank him. He was a good Man..

The Navy no longer does sit ups ; They do Planks and the maximum time is 3:26 minutes. Push ups amount depends on gender and age . 1 1/2 mile . For the practice before you will have a 2 : 10 minutes run, 2 : 15 minutes run and a 20 minutes run. That's how they make sure that everybody will run 1 1/2 mile without dying on the track.

I have just completed Air Force bmt and all I have to say is that it’s just a mind game. Pt is not hard and neither are the scholastics. Just do what you are told and you will succeed

Bring a marine, I am curious to know what Officers "really" endure to become a service member.

I feel every branch of the military should be doing intense PT, combat, field & martial arts training. You never know if you’re going to need it.

Navy boot camp was a cake walk. The hardest part is getting along with your fellow recruits

If you live in the Midwest and wanna join the USMC, it can be tricky to know where you'll go for boot camp. Where you go for boot camp will largely depend on the recruiting office. Some are designated to send you to California and some are designated for South Carolina.

Much has changed in Navy basic training since I served in boot camp at San Diego in 1961. We served 10 weeks from the first of June to mid-August. Each company had a company commander.

“SOUD OFF LIKE YOU GOTTA PAIR” -Semper Fi-
Keep up the good work gents, with spreading the good word of what’s available in the United States Military and beyond. I wish I would have had a resource like this channel before I went and ate the apple and said fuck the core, I may have re thought getting out in ‘08. Trying to go back in as a veteran with more than 5 years post service is more difficult than you would think. Actually that’s a good video suggestion you should may consider researching. “Going back in after leaving the service”

Just an idea. God bless. Roger out.
