A bit of an update on these speakers. About a week after filming this video they decided to die. I replaced them with a set of Genelec 8010A's and a JBL LSR310S Sub. I'm working on a video talking about those but I want to get some proper use out of them first.

Mine arrived yesterday and I’ve been an engineer for years and money is an issue atm, these speakers blew my mind how good they are from the money. Madness. We live in such a luxurious time, when technology is become so advanced.

I remember when I first got these about 2 years ago I remember worrying about whether the bass was going to be too tiny. To my surprise after unboxing them and hooking them up not only were they Bassy enough to fill up my average sized bedroom but the Sonic quality of these things are on point they even have that high-end Sheen that reminds me of something in the way more expensive range like hs50s. Seriously these things are amazing.

Very nice 2-years later review! I think long-run reviews should really be the norm for these types of products, as typically working with them for a few days to pop out a review gives mostly the first impressions, good job!

Just bought a pair of these am totally blown away by how good they are for the price and the size. By far the best sounding speakers I have owned to date and have previously spent a small fortune on them.

Great video Nick! I've been enjoying my Eris E3.5s on the Amiga setup for about 2 years after your original recommendation.

i just got a pair of these today. while i understand they aren't like world class level sound they sound damn good and i'm really happy with them. they're very sufficient for mixing sessions and getting vocals better dialed in. regardless of the speakers it's still a work in progress and some of the music i've released isn't mixed properly at all in my opinion now but these sure do help with an accurate pronounced sound to go off of as i better learn the other aspects.

Was gonna buy the Eris 5 two years back. Went with the 3.5 and so far have zero regrets. It's amazing

Been mixing and producing on these for over a year now. Definitely worth it!

Also have had a Presonus interface for 8 years, need had any problems.

Great review!

I've had them for about 4 months now and quite pleased with them. Thanks for the follow up re-view, it was very good!

Picked up my speakers about a year ago, never thought to check out a review on them til recently because I've been in love with the sound I get from them and have been wondering why they were only 100 bucks. I had some huge studio monitors on my desk before and I love how much space these save tucked under my ultrawide.

Fabulous review. Well scripted, well written, well spoken. You really made interesting points. I listened to the 4.5 version at a friend's place. Blew me away. Looking forward to the 3.5s.

These are an amazing price. I’ve had Krk rp5s for like 10 years but my kids, when they were little pushed in the centre cones and I’ve wanted a replacement that wouldn’t break the bank. These look like a great option! I’m glad this new channel exists. I am loving the greater variety on gear/tech. Great vid. :)

I bought these Speakers (the BT Version) 2 month ago, because of your first Review of them.
And they are really amazing.
That was also the first Gear Seeker Video i watched.
Greetings from Germany.

I've also had these for a while. they are pretty mid-bass heavy (around 80-120 hz) if you dont have a sound treated room, but if you listen to some refernce songs before mixing you can mix music perfectly with these speakers. they are good for everything.

Boxed in by speakers, LOL - Sent my mind spinning back to when I was young - I had an 80's Marshall valve bass rig, for gigging and home practice. A 4 x 12" cab on the top and a Celestion 1 x 18" on the bottom. Back then I owned a small, top floor flat and looking back I appreciate that I may not have been the best neighbour... Not sure what was worse - getting that lot up the stairs at 3am after a gig or the late night scales practices. Now I'm nearly 60 and modern tiny amps and speakers blow my mind tbh.

Bought this speakers a few weeks ago. They were revolutionary. I made my content through headphones and listened to it both on the mixing headphones and a mono bluetooth speakers. Even though I dont have an interface yet, having stereo separation and a wider soundstage is amazing. Love the bass response and sound profile, although my listening spot sucks, but I record, mix and master in my own bedroom, so there's no room for change. They are really loud and full for their size.
