Most people find dancing outside shops a bit weird too.

Many restaurants are closed on Sundays and Mondays because statistically, these are the two days of the week where they get the least business. I used to work at a seafood restaurant and they did this, because Fridays we would have lines out the door, and 45 minute waits for tables. Monday, we would have only 2-3 tables filled throughout the night. The cost to operate on these days was more than the restaurant would make, so not opening at all was the best option.

70% of Americans have less than $1K in their bank account, the life she is living is a dream for most Americans so don’t be fooled. Living in the USA and ESPECIALLY California is not easy at all.

Paper cashier's checks provide a paper trail and is done to make accounting easier. Also, bigger companies require 2 ppl to sign. You can't make a wire process that forces two people to enter their password. So in a weird way, paper checks are safer if they need a cosigner and you can trace exactly who signed.

This video is weird. All her videos show how put of touch she is and lives in a little bubble of America (really just california).

Girly, no one wants to work every day (let alone ALL day). We deserve at least 1 day off 😭

In her home country - Russia - stores also have very different open hours, & tap water is also free in restaurants:)

Imagine walking down the street minding your own business and some person moves like a mortal combat character on the loading screen in front of stores

Most smaller shops close on Sunday, due to it being the Rest day and the the holy day for Christianity (which sees it as the rest day) Another thing is places started closing earlier due to Covid, even large chains.

I love the thing about returning make up. I bought a primer and foundation at sephora that the make up artist at sephora recommended to me but it just didn’t work for my skin. I tried it a few time but it didn’t stay on my skin for longer than 30 min. So I could return it and I was so thankful because it was almost 80$. In my home country I couldn’t have done this

Those "Weird working hours aren't weird" Sunday is a day that christians go to church so most people aren't going to be working.

If I saw someone filming themselves dancing like this, I would die of second hand embarrassment.

Things that I find weird as a citizen of reality:
1. Some random lady akwardly dancing in front of entrances

People are not mad she's more well off than anyone else. They're mad because she's portraying America in correctly based on how she sees it. She'll say things accidentally that are hurtful or untrue. It's okay to feel hurt for someone putting down your country or not portraying it in the way you feel it should be.

Cashiers checks are still used because wire transfers often come with crazy high fees and the checks are just easier for large amounts of money
