you can add 4 fake frames with $6 software Lossless Scaling you need min 60fps and should get 70 to 80 and then force it to hold 60fps so the frame counter flattens out so you can get good 2x to 3x frame generation and have it feel normal

Am going to be skipping this generation. You would think they would use AI to move the technology forward not use it to make it appear better. I guess the only question is if this new generation uses less power. But that's about it.

Sony was doing 3x "frame-generation" 15 years ago on their Bravia TVs with the Reality Creation and Motion Flow settings. It made the TV feel like a window looking into the real world, it was super distracting and weird to see things moving like reality

The RTX 5xxx series is completely disappointing. Dude... there’s nothing to be excited about. Virtually zero improvement in raw GPU power. I wonder what they would do if they didn’t have all that AI in their GPUs. Sorry, but I just don’t share your enthusiasm. It’s logical that the latency is generally higher than what NVIDIA claimed. Some videos on YouTube are already showing this. 240 FPS, but it feels like...30. That doesn’t sound good :/. NVIDIA is also bragging about their "Reflex 2.0" software, but even with it, the latency isn’t the same as in DLSS 3.5. It’s absolute nonsense...

It is a nice little "magic trick" to make the FPS counter go up.
But it ain't lossless and adds a ton of latency.
