In April of 1912, the RMS Titanic set sail on its way to New York City, and it was one of the biggest ocean liners of its time. It hit an iceberg, and unfortunately, there were only 20 lifeboats on its maiden voyage, which was not enough to save everyone on board. More than 1,500 people died, and the survivors witnessed the boat sink. More than 100 years later, people are still fascinated by the tragedy, and it inspired what is now considered to be one of the most tragic romance movies of all-time.

When i was in new york i saw the area reserved for the titanic. Its pretty erie and sad seeing a dock for a ship that never came

In regards to the "no pope" theory. As someone from Belfast, I was always told the workers in Harland and Wolff (who were majority Protestant) supposedly wrote that on the Titanic to specifically spite the Catholics. After all, there had been tensions between the two groups for centuries and this was when home rule was being discussed which many Protestants were firmly against.

Something to add. 34 out of 89 ships from white star line were lost. However, 9 were lost during wartime, another 12 were lost during war time but owned by other companies, 8 were lost during peacetime but owned by other companies. So really, only 5 were lost during peace time that were owned by the white star line. Those being the Atlantic, the Naronic, the republic, the Titanic, and Celtic II. Also, Britannic sank in 1916, not 1914.

I can see J.P. Morgan sinking this ship. it was all wins for him and he was definetly ruthless and shrewed enough to do it. He put an incompetent captain in charge. left off plenty of safety equipment, staffed it with the worst crew, cut corners in the contruction and finally. did not get on the boat while many of his rivals did. in the end he set up the federal reserve and his decendants have run the monetary supply and the country since.

Titanic and Lusitania were not made by the same company, as asserted in the video.
Titanic was a White Star vessel and Lusitania was Cunard, yes the two companies did merge but not until 1934.
Also, Titanic was built at H&W in Belfast while Lusitania was built at John Brown's in Glasgow

Interesting video, though I have to admit it bothers me how many of these "conspiracy" theories (fire, waterproof doors, etc.) had nothing to do with any, you know, conspiracies. Nitpicky, maybe, but still...
